According to China Mobile's plan, before the end of this year, China Mobile can provide 4G services to customers in 13 cities including Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Nanjing, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang, Chengdu and Fuzhou. By the middle of next year, it is expected that 100 cities will have 4G commercial conditions; by the end of next year, customers in more than 340 cities will enjoy China Mobile's 4G services.
In terms of 4G terminals, the current number is relatively small. In this regard, China Mobile told Tencent Technology that it will provide more than 30 4G mobile phones and data terminals to customers through joint cooperation terminal manufacturers by the end of the year. In the first half of next year, China Mobile will promote more than 50 types of 4G mobile phones. Next year, it will launch “Thousand Yuan 4G Mobile Phones†and its own branded 4G mobile phones and terminal products.
