According to domestic media reports, Dongfeng Yueda Kia will launch the Kia K3 plug-in hybrid version to fill the gap in the Kia compact plug-in hybrid market. The new car will be officially launched in 2018.
The Kia K3 is currently available with 1.6L or 1.4T power. The former fuel consumption reference value of the former Ministry of Industry is 6.1L/100km for the manual transmission and 6.2L/100km for the automatic transmission. The reference fuel consumption of the latter is 5.9L/100km. According to the news, the integrated fuel consumption of the Kia K3 100 km plug-in version will drop to 3.7L.
According to previous news, Kia will expand its new energy vehicle camp to 22 models by 2020, including 12 hybrid electric vehicles, six plug-in hybrid models, two pure electric vehicles and two fuel cell models. We will keep attention for further news.
