Level meter, level meter process characteristics

Due to the different characteristics of different industrial production processes, level gauges and material level meters need to be determined for different process conditions. In order to be able to more clearly analyze the working principle, characteristics and application environment of level meters and level meters, a clear analysis of the process requirements for level measurement must be performed.

First of all, we analyze the process characteristics of liquid level measurement:

1. The liquid surface is a regular surface. However, when the liquid flows in and out, it easily fluctuates, or blistering, boiling or other changes occur in the production process.

2. The occurrence of uneven physical properties such as density, viscosity, or temperature throughout the liquid in the container.

3. There are high pressures, high temperatures, excessive liquid viscosity, large amounts of contaminants, suspended solids, etc. inside the container.

The physical and chemical properties of solid materials are more complex, such as granular, but also powdery, and some media are particles of uneven size; the moisture content of the solid material changes, the temperature and so on are also non-uniform changes; silo vibration, Silo shape is irregular and so on. Material level measurement process features:

1. The natural accumulation of materials will produce a stacking slope, so the material surface of the solid material is uneven, it is difficult to determine the exact height of the material level; when the material enters or exits, there is a detention area, which affects the measurement of the lowest position of the material level.

2. In hoppers or storage bins, large voids are easily formed inside the solid materials to form arch bridges. There is a small gap inside the powder. The former influences the calculation of material reserves, while the latter changes the level of the material when the vibration or temperature and pressure change.

A common problem in interface measurement is that the interface is unclear, and the presence of turbidity or foam segments can affect the measurement. In addition, the presence of equipment such as stirring, piping, and heating in the vessel will also have a certain influence on the level detection, especially level meters such as radar wave, ultrasonic wave-based echo signal measurement methods.
