LifeVibes CinemaSound brings home theater experience to mobile devices

Eindhoven, The Netherlands, February 15, 2010-NXP Software announced the launch of a new software product that can bring a home theater experience to mobile phones-LifeVibes CinemaSound. CinemaSound enables users to enjoy multi-channel surround sound when playing movies, video clips or live performances.
With LifeVibes CinemaSound, regardless of the use of any speakers or headphones, mobile phone manufacturers can enable consumers to enjoy high-quality 5-channel surround sound when watching movies, video clips or live performances. LifeVibes CinemaSound can produce full surround sound through any two-channel, matrix-coded or 5.1-channel input.
In addition, LifeVibes CinemaSound also uses NXP Software's recognized ConcertSound EX, which can recreate a natural music experience on headphones and stereo speakers. Using ConcertSound EX can enhance the stereo effect of headphones and stereo speakers, providing true bass performance for headphones, while enhancing treble to ensure clear high frequencies, thereby improving the theater sound experience. The software can integrate automatic volume adjustment function to cope with volume changes between different channels.
LifeVibes CinemaSound is optimized to run even on highly restricted mobile platforms, which enables mobile phone manufacturers to provide high-quality, realistic surround sound on almost any mobile phone. CinemaSound can be used on smartphones and feature phones.
