The company estimates that the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies in 2012 will be approximately RMB 90 million – RMB 92 million, representing a decrease of approximately 48.24%-49.36% over the same period of the previous year's profit of RMB 17,774.25 million.
Nanda Optoelectronics said that in 2011, the demand for MO source market increased, supply and demand shortage, and the price of trimethylgallium, one of the main products, continued to operate at a high level, pushing up the full year 2011 net profit. During the reporting period, demand growth in the MO source market slowed down, market supply increased, and product sales price fell back, resulting in a significant decline in 2012 annual results compared to the same period last year.
