Way of working

This wide voltage input flyback power supply uses many of the built-in features of TOPSwitch-GX to reduce component count, transformer size and overall cost. The design revolves around a TOP245P (DIP-8 package) that uses PCB copper foil to dissipate heat, eliminating heat sinks and installation costs. The output rectifier D7 also dissipates heat in the same way.
