The insulin pump is a medical device for insulin administration in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The wireless insulin pump uses radio frequency technology to establish a connection between the disposable insulin delivery patch and the handheld controller. The handheld controller can be used to regulate blood glucose, recommend the required insulin dose, provide reference recipes based on the food database, and upload the data to the medical cloud service for sharing and analysis. Freescale offers high-integration, low-power wireless MCUs and MPUs with high-resolution graphics to meet the needs of insulin pumps and controllers.
