This traditional high-calorie lighting system can cause damage to meat or meat products and can form condensation inside the plastic package. In addition, the use of fluorescent lighting often makes the elderly customers dazzle, so that they can not fully see the food situation. Recently, German researchers have developed a new ultra-high brightness LED food uniform lighting technology, which integrates LED lighting and reflection technology, which will solve the food lighting problem. It is reported that researchers have developed two demonstration devices.
1, anti-glare and uniform lighting device
The researchers used high-performance, high-brightness LED light sources to achieve the desired effect of glare-free illumination surfaces through reflective surface reflections. At present, researchers have developed lighting demonstration equipment using high-reflection aluminum-coated reflective surfaces, and the lighting effect has reached the optical requirements of uniform illumination. This technology can be used to uniformly illuminate vegetables, meat and baked goods, and truly reflect the natural color of food.
2. Intelligent lighting control device
Researchers have also developed intelligent control devices for LED lighting. Monitor the radiation spectrum of vegetables, meat or baked foods in Western Sydney by sensors. According to the change of the radiation spectrum, the illumination intensity is adjusted in real time to achieve the best illumination effect.
In the next phase, the researchers will focus on how to integrate the above two devices to design a new lighting technology product that combines the above two functions. The study was supported by the joint research project of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research “HIREFLED”. The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology in Germany joined forces with Alanod, Alux-Luxar und Baero and other companies to participate in project development.
