After the largest recall in history, Tesla shares fell $3.01, or 0.99%, to $302.51 in today's regular trading.
In 2016, Tesla's total production was 83,922 vehicles, including Model S and Model X.
"A Model S and Model X electronic hand brake system produced during February-October 2016 may contain a small problematic part - by a third party," Tesla said in a statement on its website. Supplier production."
Tesla said that this problem did not cause traffic accidents or personal injury.
Tesla said that in the recalled car, the proportion of the real hand brake problem may be less than 5%, and it takes less than 45 minutes to replace the hand brake.
Tesla said it will send a formal recall notice to the customer.
Tesla said last year that it would recall 2,700 Model Xs in the United States because of problems with the locking hinges in the third row of seats, which caused the third row of seats to fold automatically when a collision occurred.
Tesla said on Thursday that it is working with Italian supplier Freni Brembo SpA to get replacement parts.
Freni Brembo SpA did not comment on this.
