LED Engin has released a new technology that introduces two low-angle total internal reflection high-efficiency lenses on its high-throughput LuxiGen LZC and LZP sources, and special designs for 8 and 15 degree lenses. The high-brightness LED array is replaced by a Single Led light source and lens, which reduces the size of the light source system by at least 50%, while having good beam shape controllability.
The 8-degree wide lens, combined with the LZC transmitter with multi-color RGB, RGBA and RGBW, produces efficient dynamic color mixing, which, when paired with white LZC or LZP series emitters, replaces 35 watt metal halide lamps. The service life is over 50,000 hours, the efficiency is up to 12cd/lm, and the 15 degree lens plus LZP transmitter has an efficiency of 8 cd/lm.
This total internal reflection lens optimizes LED illumination, making light more efficient, beam shape controllable, and the lumen output available in the target area is maximized. At the same time, the light is evenly dispersed, avoiding the drawbacks such as light flickering. At present, a combination of a lens and a transmitter can achieve a center beam candle power of up to 36,800 cd.
