LED manufacturer Seoul Semiconductor said that the lighting fixtures installed in the National Museum of Korea use Seoul Semiconductor Acriche AC lighting source. Delica, a subsidiary of F/SKoreaNetworks, supplies AcricheLED lighting fixtures, which are already installed in the bookstore on the first floor of the Cultural Center.
F/SKoreaNetworks said that along with the National Museum project, 12 other museums are also planning to replace the Acriche lighting fixtures. In addition, F/SKoreaNetworks will have the opportunity to install Acriche lighting fixtures in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Seoul Semiconductor said that the LED lamps replaced by the National Museum of Korea have saved more than 75-85% of the energy of existing halogen lamps. Moreover, LED lamps do not produce ultraviolet rays and infrared rays like halogen lamps, which is harmful to museum exhibits. The company also said that Acriche products do not require any external converters and are an AC direct drive LED, unlike normal DC LEDs. The advantage of AC LEDAcriche is not only the ease of installation, but also the life of lighting products.
