(NYSE: VSH) today announced the launch of two 3mm x 3mm 1212 form factor inductors - IHHP-1212ZH-01 and IHHP- The 1212AZ-01 expands its IHHP series of ultra-thin, high-current power inductors. Vishay Dale IHHP-1212ZH-01 and IHHP-1212AZ-01 have inductance values ​​from 0.33μH to 10μH and heights of 0.8mm and 1.0mm, respectively, saving space and increasing efficiency in portable electronics.

The two devices released today are suitable for DC/DC converters and power modules for laptops, tablets and other handheld battery-powered electronics. These two power inductors use magnetic alloys with low noise and magnetic shielding to prevent interference from peripheral components.

The maximum DCR of IHHP-1212ZH-01 and IHHP-1212AZ-01 is as low as 23mΩ, saturation current is as high as 6.5A, and temperature rise current is 6.0A. The device operates from -55°C to +125°C and is packaged in a RoHS-compliant, 100% lead-free shield structure.

Samples are available for the new inductors and are in volume production. The lead time for major orders is ten weeks.
