And send the data of all equipment of each station to the central monitoring station for monitoring and electronic statistics.
Implementation plan:
Between the central station of the water treatment plant and various pumping stations and pressure measuring stations, we decided to adopt radio communication methods because of the distance of several tens of kilometers, and because of the obstruction of the mountains, the No. 1 pressurized pump station at No. 1 The booster pump station is controlled between the central stations and a relay station is set up for forwarding. The water treatment plant's central station and the six city's pressure measurement stations communicated directly via radio because they were closer together.
The main problem of this project is the task of radio communication, how to add radio communication to existing S5 series equipment. According to the existing actual situation, on the basis of not moving the original Siemens S5-115U, it is decided to add ST1 series modules of Siemens products to implement radio communication. Sinaut ST1 is a program-controlled system based on SIMATIC S5, consisting of hardware modules and software software modules. For a variety of automated tasks, complete radio communication, allowing data to be transmitted to or near or far away. Data can be transmitted via dedicated lines or various PTT networks (GSM, ISDN, dial-up Modem, radio communication, etc.).
Sinaut ST1 hardware includes, TIM module (remote control interface module, namely S5-PLC communication function module), modem (for mutual conversion of digital and analog quantity), radio station (radio transmitting device). The software is the Sinaut TD1 software package. In this way, we use the TD1 expansion package to program the hardware TIM board on the basis of STEP5. The central station of the water treatment plant is used as a master station, and other stations are used as slave stations. The information of each slave station is collected one by one in a direct patrol manner, and this way only when the data changes from the slave station, the data is transmitted, which greatly speeds up the update of the data and the service life of the hardware device.

We use monitoring configuration software to collect data from the PLC of the central station and reflect the status of the entire system (local station, radio remote station) in real time. The main display includes: water plant control process map, operation status table, alarm and historical data query, statistical reports, trend charts. The control process map reflects the operation status of each pump station of the water plant, and is consistent with the dynamic graphics, data and real-time on-site. The operation status table reflects the switch status of the main equipment, the parameters of the field instrument, the cumulative value (flow, water level) Turbidity, temperature, PH, pressure, etc.). The report prints a daily report of the status of major equipment. In addition to being displayed on the display, the main data is displayed on the electronic display. Since this system was put into operation, it has been working normally and achieved the expected results.
