Recently, VECO announced that one of China's leading LED manufacturers, Huacan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. has ordered TurboDisc®MaxBright® GaN MOCVD equipment to mass produce LEDs for displays and general lighting. The order was placed in the third quarter of 2012, and Veeco's latest high-capacity version (MHP) was ordered.
