Just a few days after Tesla’s Model S murder was exposed, there was another wave of unrest, and Tesla had another accident. This time, the trouble is Model X, and fortunately there is no life.
According to the Detroit Free News, on July 1, a Model X car accident occurred at the Bedford exit on the Pennsylvania toll road last week. In the accident, the Model X hit the guardrail on the right side of the road and then bounced back to the central guardrail. And the rollover occurred and the roof of the car touched the ground. Fortunately, the accident did not cause the driver or passenger to be injured. Driver Albert Scaglione said that the car's Autopilot autopilot function was on.
Police Dale Vukovich, who investigated the incident, said:
The Model X driver in the accident will be called.
There is no evidence that the Autopilot autopilot system has failed.
However, Tesla Motors will report the detection records to Tesla through the data connection, so the cause of the accident may soon surface.
The Tesla Autopilot feature is an early stage driver-assisted technology that uses radar and cameras to guide the vehicle through the lane and automatically adjusts the speed based on traffic conditions ahead. When the driver presses the turn signal, the system can also automatically change lanes. Other vendors offer similar features, but they don't reach the level of the Tesla system.
After the recent Tesla murder, Tesla has already fallen into a dark situation. This incident has made Tesla worse.
