Recently, Mary Kay (China) Cosmetics Co., Ltd. officially launched the new administrative management center. Known as the “Mary Kay Building”, the 13-storey high-rise building in Shanghai’s Jing’an CBD is the office building that Mary Kay spent more than 800 million in China. It means a new upgrade to the Mary Kay China Administration Center. It is regarded as an important strategic measure for Mary Kay to support the long-term, stable and sustainable development of China's business.

Founded in 1995, Mary Kay (China) Cosmetics Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mary Kay, a leading global beauty brand and distributor. In the eyes of Mary Kay, the official opening of the Mary Kay Building is a moment of glory with special significance. “Having a home in China is Mary Kay’s dream for more than 20 years,” said a Mary Kay employee.

Office space has always been more than just "one acre and three points" in front of the table. In Mary Kay's new administrative center, technology and environmental protection elements can be seen everywhere. Nearly 100 meeting rooms of different sizes adopt fresh air system, which automatically adjusts the air volume according to the number of people, and is comfortable and environmentally friendly. The glass curtain wall outside the building can effectively reduce indoors. Energy-saving building insulation film; lighting also uses LED induction lamps, automatically extinguished according to people coming and going, to minimize the waste of energy.

At the same time, with the move into a new administrative center, Mary Kay strives to create a more collaborative and more cultural atmosphere, so the building as a whole is opened up as an open office space. “I have a philosophy that I want to release employees from my desk or office, so I basically don’t have to fix my position in the office,” according to Mr. Mai Yuxi, President of Mary Kay China. “Mary Kay hopes more.
